As muslim community seek continuous blessings for him

The National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has marked his 105th birthday with prayers and a modest ceremony held at his Fadama residence today, Tuesday, April 23rd.

The ceremony, which was attended by family members, close friends, and prominent Muslim leaders, featured a Quran recitation session as prayers were offered for his continued good health and blessings.

Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has served as the National Chief Imam since 1993, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Muslim community in Ghana for almost three decades.

His life has been one of dedication, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and interfaith harmony.

A prayer-filled statement by the Chief Imam TV praised the National Chief Imam’s contributions, seeking Allah’s “blessings, protection, and longevity” to the Grand Mufty of the country.

“Happy 105 years Yaa Maulaya! May Allah continue bestow His blessings, protection, and longevity upon you, granting you excellent health. Ameen Bijahi Rasulullahi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Alihi Wasallam.”

The Vice President took to their social media page to celebrate the man who has had positive impact on the nation.
“Happy 105th birthday to my father, the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu. May the Almighty Allah continue to bless him with long life and good health to continue the positive impact on humanity and our dear country, Ghana.”
